Some Finished Pieces (finally)

I’m finally getting some of the items I mentioned earlier as getting finished in the month of June (hmmmm, blogging about them on July 26th and not getting pictures of them posted till the month of August . . . do you see a pattern of habits here?)

All are made with yarn that I dyed and spun.

The first is a baby sweater using the Debbie Bliss pattern Ribbed Baby Jacket from Prima online. I used approximately 390 yards for the 0-3 month size and used US #5 needles.

Secondly , two hats using the pattern Squiggly from Mashpit’s Knits.  Each hat used approximately 63 yards using US #10.5 needles.  This pattern is great for those little odds and ends of leftover, bulkier yarn.

And lastly, a pair of mittens using the pattern Plaid Mittens from the Blue Blog.  I used approximately 110 yards and US #10.5 needles.

I’m slow, but I do get things posted (most of the time) . . .

  1. They are beautiful! Wow, someone who spins enough yarn to do a project, and then…does the project! I am so impressed!

Ha! It was just a fluke Jennifer!! : )

  3. Another Jennifer heard from. How will we know we have spun enough if you don’t post how much yardage it took? How big around is the sweater ?

Jennifer, I’ve added the yardage and needles sizes for all three projects. The baby sweater (0-3 months) is 20.5″ in circumference.
