August Spinsters’ Club

Jen was so gracious to have us all over to her house for Spinster’s — how nice to stay in town for a change in pace. As always, everyone was evil and brought delicious food (that I’m sure was all fat free). I enjoy this group so much — we’re all very different, yet we all have this common love of all things fibery that brings us together. I seem to always learn something new from someone, plus, I laugh my way through most of the afternoon.

Our hostess with the mostess with her freshly complletd sweater. It’s a variation on the “Cobblestone” and Jen used her own handspun for the yoke.

Peek-A-Boo gave everyone her undivided attention (hmm, well if they had food).

I’m in the process of plying my own dyed turquoise superwash merino with the “Wild Side” superwash merino — so far, so good.

Yay! Good pictures 🙂 I had a great time too. And of course, next month is Yarn School!!

  2. 1. If Jen’s hands were visible, it would look like she was wearing the sweater. That’s awesome.
    2. I am apparently wearing my Serious Spinning Face.

  3. Gorgeous yarn! I have yet to find a group of spinners to meet up with, it looks like it was a lovely time! 🙂

I think Cardi’s and fiber are quite a good match!
