Pomatomus Socks

I’m still on my sock knitting jag — and the next one up is “Pomatomus” by Cookie A (again), from the winter ’05 issue of Knitty.

The yarn is Cherry Hill Supersock in colorway #420 (blue-green) using US#1.5 needles. The pattern looks so complicated, but it’s an easy modified 1×1 rib.

I’ve spent so much time knitting lately, that blogging has just flown out of my head — I can’t chew gum and walk at the same time! Hopefully, I’ll get pictures taken of my other projects within the next week or so and I’ll be able to prove that I’ve actually been busy and productive!!

  1. That’s so funny that you’re making these – I just threw away the pair I made a few years ago. They were just too big and driving me nuts (and I dropped some YOs so there were strange holes). I’m definitely going to make these again but on smaller needles. Yours are beautiful!

  2. Pretty, pretty, pretty! I really like the colorway.

Thanks! I’m almost done with the first sock — I love that half way point!
